European Writers Club in collaboration with Fís Éireann presents: British multi awarded producer Lord David Puttnam 

(War of the Buttons, Chariots of Fire, The Killing Fields, Midnight Express, The Mission)

As our guest, on the occasion of the EWC Camp hosted by Fís Éireann / Screen Ireland and the NTA for Film & TV in Cork, we have the immense pleasure of having with us David Puttnam, producer of films which have won multiple Oscars, BAFTAs and the Palme d’Or and is currently Chair of Atticus Education and President of The National Film and Television School.

As a producer, David Puttnam has brought such gems to our screens as Midnight Express (1978), Chariots of Fire (1981), Local Hero (1983), The Killing Fields (1984), The Mission (1986) and War of the Buttons (1994) . Stories which have touched many of us and are now and forever locked in our collective memory.
