Let's create stories together.
We inspire and encourage collaboration between creators, writers, producers and broadcasters.
Thank you and stay tuned
We have now completed the third and final pilot of EWC, supported by the European Commission’s special pilot call, Writing European.
It has been an incredible journey exploring new ways of collaboration and co-creation between writers, creators and producers, and those who bring stories to audiences – broadcasters and sales companies.

Over the past three years, more than 4,000 industry professionals have engaged with EWC through our pilots, camps, workshops and Open Clubs. More than 80 writers, creators and producers have taken part in our development lab, generously sharing their ideas and projects and receiving peer-to-peer feedback and input from our network of broadcasters and sales.

While we are now concluding the pilot phase, this is not the end of EWC. We are currently shaping the next edition, EWC 2.0, building on everything we have learned and hope to launch the next chapter with support from Creative Europe MEDIA later this year.
Stay tuned.
We would like to share some experiences from our participants

Bridging Generations / connecting audiences
Across borders, ages, and creative backgrounds, writers, producers, broadcasters, sales representatives and industry experts, met in a shared space of trust, creative exchange, and meaningful cooperation, the very heart of the European Writers Club.
Together, through dialogue and collaboration, we nurtured stories that speak to Europeans of all walks of life, stories that travel, connect, and remind us of what we share. In a time of uncertainty and fragmentation, this journey once again showed the power of borderless storytelling and cooperation.
